The girl behind the punchline.
Nova can turn almost anything into a bit.
Fear. Grief. Affection. Catastrophe. Probably a minor electrical fire.
She is quick, observant, restless, and almost pathologically useful under pressure. When somebody she loves is hurting, Nova does not sit with the feeling. She brings supplies. She researches. She drives. She works another shift. She finds something to fix.
Because fixing people is safer than letting them see that she might need something too.
Her humor is not fake. Neither is the love underneath it. The problem is that Nova has spent so long being the person who keeps everybody else upright that she has quietly started believing usefulness is the price of admission.
And eventually, somebody notices.
Fast mouth. Huge heart. Terrible coping mechanisms. Will absolutely turn an emotional crisis into an errand if left unsupervised.
